Gunter Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from award through final closeout. Responsibilities
•Manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
•Lead project kickoff meetings and establish project execution plans.
•Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
•Monitor project profitability and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
•Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
•Coordinate field superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
•Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
•Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor production, quality, and safety.
•Coordinate inspections, permits, material procurement, and project documentation.
•Ensure compliance with KDOT, MoDOT, KCMO, OSHA, and contract requirements.
•Resolve field issues, change orders, scheduling conflicts, and client concerns while maintaining positive relationships with owners, engineers, and inspectors.

Qualifications
Required
•Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction.
•Experience managing street rehabilitation, concrete paving, flatwork, and municipal infrastructure projects.
•Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
•Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
•Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
•Experience with Bid2Win, PlanSwift, and Procore.
•Working knowledge of KDOT, MoDOT, and KCMO specifications.
•Experience managing public works projects.
•OSHA 30 Certification.
