Gunter Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including street rehabilitation, concrete paving, dirt work, and municipal infrastructure. Responsibilities
•Prepare complete project estimates using Bid2Win.
•Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
•Perform quantity takeoffs using PlanSwift and Microsoft Excel.
•Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
•Develop accurate labor, material, and equipment pricing.
•Prepare bid summaries and recommend final pricing.
•Manage multiple estimates while meeting deadlines.
•Work closely with Project Administrators, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the bidding process.
•Maintain knowledge of APWA, KDOT, MoDOT, and KCMO specifications.

Qualifications
Required
•7+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
•Experience estimating street rehabilitation, concrete paving, dirt work, and municipal infrastructure projects.
•Ability to prepare estimates on projects valued up to $10 million.
•Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and bidding procedures.
•Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
•Proficiency with Bid2Win, PlanSwift, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
•Experience with public works and municipal projects.
